Have you wandered on parts of the Pacific Crest Trail, hiked it all, or dream of accomplishing this magnificent goal? This map is illustrated for those who have been touched by the trail, admired the beauty that goes through 25 national forests and 7 national parks. The PCT connects Mexico to Canada, daring dreamers to challenges beyond imagination. At 2,663 miles, the trail was officially finished in 1993, but the first thru-hike was completed in 1970. Along with the Appalachian Trail and Continental Divide Trail, the PCT is known as America’s Triple Crown of Hiking. This pacific northwest map is for those who appreciate the nostalgic essence of old historical maps and rustic quality of an explorer’s life. Its representation of old style cartographic techniques combined with rich color creates a display that brightly depicts the entirety of the trail and stops along the way. Each tree and mountain are among originally hand drawn elements reproduced in a map that pulls on heartstrings and beckons adventurers to go out and explore. Give as a gift or keep as a heritage piece, celebrating one of this great country’s defining trails.
