For Charleston impressionist and exclusive Ballard artist, Rick Reinert, light is everything. "I just focus on the light, and really enhance upon that, making it whimsical in form and composition." Here, he uses dappled sunlight to lead your eye and imagination deeper into the colorful wood. This is a rich multi-color palette with lush greens, soft rusts, browns and multiple blues, in addition: transparent orange, raw umber, lemon yellow, chartreuse, alizarin crimson, ebony black (mixed), cadmium red light and titanium white. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a clean, soft-bristle brush. Avoid water, sprays, abrasive cleaners, and chemical products on the canvas and textured finish. Keep the artwork away from excessive moisture, direct sunlight, and heat sources. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth without rubbing. Check the frame and hanging hardware periodically to ensure they remain secure.
