This compact crib from BABYBJÖRN® lets you gently rock your newborn to sleep for a peaceful night’s rest. Its breathable mesh fabric provides air circulation throughout the crib and visibility so you can monitor your little one as they snooze. It’s lightweight enough so you can move it freely around the house and folds up compact for easy storage. DETAILS THAT MATTER The cradle’s gentle springy rocking is similar to the soothing motion of a stroller. You can easily rock the cradle with your hand or foot, and it also turns your baby’s own movements into gentle rocking. The sides of the cradle are made from a soft, airy mesh fabric that allows your baby to breathe freely, even if their face gets very close to the side of the cradle. It also allows good supervision of your baby in the cradle. Despite its compact design, the cradle is very stable and has sturdy non-slip feet that keep it firmly in place on the floor. Cradle base is made of MDF. Legs are made from solid beech wood. Mattress is included and is made of 100% polyester. SAFETY INFORMATION Use only a fitted bottom sheet that is specifically made for crib use (Pottery Barn Kids fitted crib sheets have elastic around the top and bottom, rather than around the entire edge, for added safety), along with a mattress pad and/or a waterproof pad. If you use a blanket, ensure it is tucked around the sides of the crib mattress and covers your baby only up to the chest. Do not place decorative pillows, quilts, comforters, sheepskins or stuffed animals in the crib while your baby is sleeping, as they may prevent proper air circulation around your baby’s face. When you fold up the cradle, it only measures 5" in height. Recommended for newborns to approximately 6 months or up to 18 pounds.
