nspired by an early 20th-century worktable that belonged to our designer’s great-grandfather, the Benchwright Collection honors the strength and simplicity of rustic-industrial design. This dining bench features turnbuckle hardware, oversized bolts and a hand-applied finish that highlights each intentional saw mark and groove across the wood’s naturally occurring grain. Accented with grooves and saw marks to create the look of salvaged lumber. Antique-bronze-finished hardware. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Apron, frame and legs are expertly constructed of solid poplar. Seat is crafted of wood veneer over MDF. Built using 5-ply construction with tongue-and-groove joinery. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking. Finished by hand using our exclusive multi-step process. Oversized bolts on the legs. Fitted with a metal support bracket with turnbuckle details for added stability. 60" bench seats 2-3 people comfortably. 74" bench seats 3 people comfortably. 86" bench seats 4 people comfortably. Adjustable levelers provide stability on uneven surfaces. Imported.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills promptly with a slightly damp cloth, then dry the surface thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, excess moisture, and soaking the wood. Protect the hand-applied finish from prolonged direct sunlight and heat sources. Check the hardware and adjustable levelers periodically, tightening or adjusting them as needed.
