Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting or a vacuum without a rotating beater bar. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth and avoid rubbing. Use only a small amount of moisture when spot cleaning, and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Keep the rug away from prolonged direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Use a rug pad beneath the rug, and have difficult stains professionally cleaned if needed.
