Originally set near a fireplace, wingback chairs used their “wings” to trap heat and protect sitters from drafts. Now, they’ve taken on a role that decidedly more decorative, but no less useful. This design, for example, is crafted from solid birch and is wrapped in neutral polyester upholstery for a look that pairs well with modern and traditional ensembles alike. it’s a great spare chair for your seating group.

Dust the solid birch frame regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Vacuum the polyester upholstery using a brush attachment on a low setting. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth. For light marks, use a lightly damp cloth and mild soap, then allow the area to dry completely. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, soaking the upholstery, excessive moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight.
