An everyday classic, this handwoven rug is made in southern India from jute—a highly sustainable, rapidly renewable resource and a particularly durable material. Available in an array of colors, this beautifully textured rug is also reversible. KEY DETAILS 100% jute fibers. Ethically handcrafted to Nest standards to directly support the workers behind it. Handwoven. Due to the natural variations that occur within jute, slight variations in color are to be expected. Shedding of loose fibers is normal with new rugs. Shedding will diminish with regular vacuuming, typically within three to six months. Reversible. Rug Pad recommended (sold separately). Made in India. Select items are online/catalog only.

Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting or without a beater bar to help manage normal shedding. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth and avoid saturating the fibers. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, or soaking methods. Keep away from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight to help preserve the natural fibers and color. Rotate the rug periodically for more even wear. Use a rug pad underneath on indoor floors.
