Due to their handcrafted nature, our rugs may vary slightly in size, tone, and weight — each distinctive and rich in character. 100% New Zealand wool with a cotton backing. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Certified: Safely tested to be free from harmful chemicals. Pile height: 0.75" Double-tufted by hand in India. Due to its wonderfully hand-crafted nature, no two designs will look exactly alike. Indigo ground has a contrasting Ivory pattern. Ivory ground has a Pewter pattern. To prolong the life of your rug, we recommend using a rug pad (sold separately). Rotate your rug every 3-6 months to prevent excessive wear and sun exposure in one area. Do not pull on loose ends. Either tuck back or snip with scissors and knot ends. All wool rugs shed, but with proper care and treatment, most rugs stop shedding after 3-6 months. For best results, vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush digs into the fibers and will ruin your rug.
