Shedding of loose fibers is normal with new rugs. Shedding will diminish with regular vacuuming, typically within three to six months. Recycled cotton backing. Rug Pad recommended (sold separately). Vacuum regularly using a gentle setting to help reduce normal initial shedding. Avoid using a beater bar or harsh cleaning chemicals. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing.
