Wipe the wood with a soft, damp cloth, then dry it thoroughly. Remove spills promptly to help prevent moisture marks. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemical cleaners, and prolonged exposure to standing water. Keep the trunk away from intense heat when possible and use it in a protected outdoor location. Periodically check the cover hardware and fasteners, tightening them gently if needed.
