Dust the metal base and linen shade regularly with a soft, dry cloth or duster. Gently vacuum the shade with a brush attachment when needed. Blot spills on the shade promptly with a clean, dry cloth and avoid saturating the linen. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials. Keep the lamp away from excessive moisture and direct heat, and unplug it before cleaning or replacing the bulb.
