Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface completely. Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemical cleaners, and excessive moisture. Keep the bookcase away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat sources to help preserve the barley finish. Use care when repositioning the unit, and check that levelers remain properly adjusted.
