Inspired by an early 20th-century worktable that belonged to our designer’s great-grandfather, the Benchwright Collection honors the strength and simplicity of rustic-industrial design. This dining chair is constructed using mortise-and-tenon joinery—a technique used by woodworkers for thousands of years—and showcases oversized bolts and a hand-applied finish that highlights each intentional saw mark and groove across the wood’s naturally occurring grain.. Made of kiln-dried solid rubberwood. Solidly constructed using mortise-and-tenon joinery for exceptional stability. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew.
