HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Low Loft is expertly crafted from solid poplar wood, rubber wood, sap gum wood, pine wood, MDF and engineered wood. Furniture is finished in a choice of child-safe, water-based Navy or Simply White. Low Loft Desk is expertly crafted from solid poplar wood, sapgum wood, MDF, corkboard, chalkboard and metal. Low Loft Dresser is expertly crafted from solid poplar wood, sapgum wood, MDF, engineered wood and beech wood. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Hardware is finished in silver. Slat roll foundation is crafted from solid wood. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and waxed wooden glides, which ensure smooth motion. DETAILS THAT MATTER Twin bunk includes guardrail and 2 open fixed shelves at one end of bed. Ladder is fixed and cannot be moved. A bunk mattress must be used on the upper bunk (sold separately); do not use a box spring. Rolling desk features 2 open shelves, 1 chalkboard, 1 corkboard and 6 casters for easy mobility (chalk and push pins are sold separately). 2 Casters have locks to keep desk in place. Dresser features 3 spacious drawers: 2 medium size and 1 large drawer. KEY PRODUCT POINTS Industry standards for all bunk beds, requires not less than 3' from the ceiling to upper mattress surface.
