HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Crafted from solid poplar wood, beech wood, pine wood, veneers and MDF. Frame-and-panel construction adds strength and structural integrity you can trust. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture with flawless surfaces and consistent color tones. Mattress platform is made of 100% solid pine wood in slat-roll for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring. Mattress and box spring are sold separately. Finished by hand in child-safe, water-based paint that provides durability, depth of color and richness to each piece of furniture. GREENGUARD Gold Certified.
