Espresso finished pieces are expertly crafted of kiln-dried solid mahogany and mahogany veneers for the look of an heirloom. Charcoal and Gray wash finished pieces are expertly crafted from solid meranti wood, engineered wood and Sungkai veneers. Montauk White is crafted of kiln-dried meranti solid wood, white oak veneers and MDF. Finish is applied entirely by hand, using a multi-step process that highlights the wood's natural grain. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture with flawless surfaces and consistent color tones. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. GREENGUARD Gold certified. This low-emitting product has been tested for more than 10,000 chemicals and VOCs to contribute to cleaner indoor air. Slat-roll support system makes use of a box spring optional. A low-profile box spring is recommended. Adjustments allow for a box spring when set in low position.
