Fluid Pendant Light

The Muuto Fluid Pendant is a warm pendulum of glass, designed as a nebulous globe shade that defies any strict geometric form. Inspired by dewy droplets, the white glass captures the same amorphous quality of water, made even more impactful once lit. The opal glass slopes downward, eventually evening out as a flat base, keeping the shape away from a perfect sphere. This therefore creates a solid surface for the light to evenly spread below in addition to the full range of diffused light surrounding the fixture. Muuto is firmly rooted in Scandinavian design, hand-picking the best designers from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Their name is inspired by the Finnish word “muutos,” meaning “change” or “new perspective,” and it is this concept that embodies the spirit within each and every piece.
